On the Lilo

A silver tabby with bold black stripes lies stretched across a ribbed yellow lilo, front paws hanging over the edge, wearing red-and-gold browline sunglasses and a completely deadpan expression. Dozens of orange-billed rubber ducks bob around it on clear, rippling pool water with a pale green-grey floor showing beneath. The fur, the gloss on each duck and the light on the water are drawn in fine, engraved-looking detail.

Mustard and lemon yellow against silvery grey water keep it sunny and cheeky. The cat fills the middle third, with ducks receding up to the top edge and two big ones guarding the bottom corners. A large print rewards close looking at the whiskers and ripples. It suits a bathroom or a pool-house wall.
