Number Four Sprint

Shaved head down and wraparound sunglasses on, a runner lunges straight out of the frame toward us, one shoe planted on cobbles at the bottom and an arm swinging up at the top right. He is drawn in dense engraved hatching, every muscle ridged with fine lines. A huge numeral 4 sits on an orange-red block beside him, with stacked blocky lettering and a strip of small logos below.

Burnt orange, black and off-white, laid out like a vintage race poster. The runner fills the left side from head to shoe, and the eye drops from his face down the leg to the pavers. The lettering is decorative rather than readable. At 9 × 18 in the engraving gets richer. It suits a home gym or a hallway.
