Cat. 074.3 · Playful Orange
Curls at the Corner
A small girl with a cloud of dark curls peeks out from behind a tall, smooth orange pillar, one hand curled over its edge. Only half of her shows: wide brown eyes, freckled cheeks, a hint of a smile and a cream knit jumper. The wall behind her is a deeper red-orange with a rough, stuccoed texture. The soft 3D rendering gives her the look of an animated film character.
Two oranges split the print down the middle: a smooth tangerine block on the left and a grainier blood orange on the right. The girl appears low on the right, so the eye travels down the long empty pillar to find her. At full size the wall texture comes forward. It brightens a playroom or a warm hallway.
Hangs well a playroom wall or beside a child's door
