Cream Curve

A modern open-wheel racing car comes straight at you out of black space, sitting just below the middle of the frame. Its white nose carries a number 5, red stripe graphics run along the front and rear wings, and the driver's red helmet peeks from the cockpit halo. Fat black tyres frame the body. A single cream band curves up the right side and sweeps down across the track below.

Black, cream, white and a little red. The cream arc does all the movement, pulling the eye from the lower left up and out past the top right, while the car holds still in the centre. Sponsor marks on the nose are deliberately unreadable. It suits a minimal lounge, a study or a garage with dark walls.
