Gullwings Up

Parked nose-on at the kerb, an orange Tesla Model X stands with both rear falcon-wing doors raised like a pair of arms. Orange, white and teal repeat across car and building, giving it an orderly, retro-modern calm. With more than half the height given to sky, the palms and the raised doors carry the eye down to the car at the bottom. At 9 × 18 in the raised doors stay crisp. It suits a garage or a mid-century living room.
