Walking Out Together

A young driver strides toward the viewer in a cream racing suit with a yellow harness, an open-face helmet striped yellow and white, one hand on her hip. Beside her walks an older mechanic with a moustache, cap, olive work shirt and teal trousers. Behind them a cream and crimson race car wearing the number 9 is parked against a crowd of watching faces and pit-lane signage.

Khaki, cream, teal and a dusty crimson keep it warm and period without going sepia. The pair fill the full height, helmet near the top and boots at the bottom, so the print reads as one confident stride. Ink outlines stay crisp at 9 × 18 in. Good company for vintage race posters or a garage-themed den.
