Cobbled Avenue

Shot close and low, a black Pontiac GTO rolls across wet-looking cobblestones toward the lower left, its two round headlamps glowing amber. The GTO badge sits in the chrome grille, and a plate on the bumper reads DRIVING. Behind, a grand stone building with arched windows and shopfronts streaks past in motion blur, while a few dark pedestrians walk the footpath. Light is late and dim.

Near-black, bronze and smoky brown, warmed by the glow of the lamps. The car fills the lower half while the blurred facade climbs the upper half, so the eye starts at the headlights and drifts up the building. At 9 × 18 in the chrome trim and grille detail come through. It suits a garage or a moody lounge.
