Wading Through

Shot from above and slightly ahead, a near-black Ferrari 355 pushes through dark water at an angle, the waterline lapping its wheel arches. Low light glints on the wet bonnet and the roofline, and through the glass you can see red leather seats. The prancing-horse badge is just visible on the side. At the very bottom a single red character glows against black, with two small dashes beneath.

Black, bottle green and one hard note of red. The car sits in the upper half and the water darkens as it falls toward the glowing character, which pulls the eye down the full length of the print. Grain becomes part of the texture at 9 × 18 in. It suits a dark-walled den or a garage.
