Cat. 062.2 · An Alsatian Good Boy
Autumn Profile
Ears up and gaze fixed on something to the right, a German Shepherd sits in three-quarter profile, built from dozens of curved panes outlined in thick dark leading. The muzzle and saddle are rendered in deep inky blue, the chest and cheeks in tan, cream and rose. Amber eyes catch the light. Behind the dog, bare autumn trunks glow gold on the left, and cool blue panes darken the right.
Amber, rust, cream and midnight blue, with black lines holding everything together. The head and alert ears sit in the top half, so the dog looks out over the room. At 9 × 18 in the line work inside each pane becomes visible. It suits an entry hall, a study or a warm-toned living room.
Hangs well an entry hall or warm-toned living room
