Teslamericana is photographic in look and strict in method. Each plate is a straight-on roadside view, the horizon pushed down past the halfway mark, and above it a sky that slides from pale aqua to an almost black teal. Below sits one orange vehicle against one flat-fronted building. The buildings echo the cars: tangerine stucco, white render, orange awnings, corrugated sheds. It is roadside Americana with the chrome swapped for charge ports, and the repetition is the point; fifteen plates, one colour argument.

The whole range turns up. Gullwings Up has a Model X facing you with both falcon doors raised beneath four palms. Motel Balconies lines a Model S in front of a two-storey motel with sky-blue chairs on every landing. Brick Tower, Open Desert strands a Cybertruck beside a lone brick chimney in scrubland, while Desert Haul runs a white Semi and its orange trailer along a highway at the foot of bare hills. The Polka-Dot Dress is the only plate with a person in it: a woman in an orange spotted dress, back turned to a parked Model 3.

Because the sky takes up well over half of nearly every frame, the clock and date get an empty, saturated field of teal all to themselves. The vehicle lands near the dock, so a Home Screen of icons floats over clear sky and the car peeks out at the bottom. The darker upper teal suits dark mode; on light mode, Corrugated Wall and One Palm have paler skies that keep black labels legible.
