No. 087, in eight platesPontiac GTO in Town
An American muscle car loose in old streets that were never built for it, shot like a still from a seventies chase film.
Pontiac GTO in Town looks like a stack of frames pulled from a reel of old film stock. The colour is drained to tea and charcoal, the highlights are creamy rather than white, and the backgrounds slide into shallow-focus blur so the car is always the sharpest thing in the picture. Low camera angles and smeared tarmac give most plates a sense of speed, though nothing here is glossy or showroom clean.
The car is a black GTO, all bonnet scoops, quad headlamps and chrome bumpers, and the joke of the series is where it turns up. Cobbled Avenue parks it on stones outside a grand Victorian facade with pedestrians drifting past. Balcony Street has it sliding out of a narrow lane of shutters and terracotta roofs in a cloud of tyre smoke. The Clock Tower pauses beside a two-faced street clock and a red brick mansion flying a flag, and After Dark sends it under tall streetlights past a glowing billboard.
Almost every plate leaves a band of sky or building above the car, and the soft focus up there means the Lock Screen clock reads cleanly against stone and cloud rather than detail. The car itself sits low and centred, roughly where the dock and the bottom row of apps land, so on the Home Screen you see facades and sky behind your icons. The tones are dark and warm enough for dark mode, and After Dark is the plate to pick for a fully night-time screen.
It suits muscle car people, film buffs who know a car chase by its grain, and anyone who likes the idea of a V8 rumbling through a quiet old town. Cobbled Avenue and Terrace Row are free to download in full resolution; the other six are premium. The artwork is original to pxCream and not affiliated with or endorsed by Pontiac or General Motors.

About Pontiac GTO in Town.
Which GTO plate works best at night?
After Dark is the only true night scene, with streetlights and a lit billboard on a dark road. The Clock Tower and Cobbled Avenue are the next darkest, both heavy on shadow around the car.
Are these real photographs of a Pontiac GTO?
No. They are original pxCream artworks made to look like stills from old film, so the streets and buildings are invented rather than real locations. Cobbled Avenue and Terrace Row are free; the other six are premium.
