Lit Living Room

Two gabled houses clad in pale vertical timber stand in a field of low, frosted wildflowers, with misty hills fading behind. The nearer house has a full glass wall, and through it a lamp-lit room glows warm: a white bed or sofa, a floor lamp and grey armchairs on the deck. The second house sits further back, with a lounger outside. Fog softens everything into a pale, peach-tinted dusk.

Fog white, warm peach and soft grey above, dark plum and brown in the shrubs below. The empty misty sky fills the top half, so the lit window lands as the warm centre. In the lower third, the flowers sharpen into detail at 9 × 18 in. It suits a bedroom, a calm living room or a holiday house.
