Orange Loop

A broad ribbon of glowing orange folds over itself in the centre of the frame, its inner curl shading to rust and almost black where it turns. A sharp diagonal edge cuts across from the upper left, and pale cyan rims trace the outer curves. Below, the form melts into a deep pool of teal that darkens towards the bottom. A fine grain sits over the smooth 3D-rendered surfaces.

Tangerine, amber and rust meet teal and petrol blue in a warm-cool clash that feels rich rather than loud. The loop holds the middle, with warmth at the top and cool depth at the bottom. At 9 × 18 in the soft grain stops it looking glossy. It sits well over a dark sideboard or in a modern living room.
