No. 001, in ten platesBlue House

Blue House is painted in a soft, sun-faded digital style that recalls a postcard left too long on a fridge. The palette barely moves from plate to plate: a pool-deck teal sky, clapboard blue walls, a strip of turquoise sea and, on every single front, a butter-yellow door. That door is the thread. Swap one plate for another and the house changes shape while the welcome stays the same.

The architecture keeps things lively. There is a squat cottage with white steps between two palms, a narrow beach hut on stilts in white sand, a three-storey Victorian with bay windows, and a turreted house dressed in pink shrubs. One plate drops into the suburbs, with power lines, a gravel yard and a pink fence; another shows a low bungalow with a white garage door. The odd one out is a white cottage with blue shutters, set back behind tall grass under a darker evening sky.

Every house is drawn front-on and centred, with the sky taking the top half or more. That leaves a flat teal gradient exactly where the Lock Screen clock lands, and in Three Storeys the building is pushed so low that nearly the whole screen is sky. On the Home Screen, a top row of widgets floats over open air, while the dock settles onto lawn, sand or asphalt. The mid-tone teal carries white labels comfortably in light or dark mode.

It suits people who photograph front doors on holiday, fans of mid-century coastal Americana, and anyone who finds a symmetrical façade quietly calming. Yellow Door Cottage and Hut on the Sand are free in full resolution, and the eight premium plates let you walk the rest of the street.
