No. 057, in seventeen platesBeemeur in the Night
Headlights first, everything else a smear: seventeen frames of a Bavarian car moving faster than the shutter.
Beemeur in the Night is shot, or styled to look shot, on a slow shutter in bad light. Backgrounds tear into horizontal streaks, film grain hangs in the shadows, and the only things in sharp focus are a grille, a headlamp, a wheel arch. The palette barely leaves charcoal: gunmetal paint, black tarmac, a green cast from sodium and fluorescent tubes, and the odd jab of tail-light red. The French-slang title is about right; this is the car as the people who love it see it.
The series falls into two generations. The first nine plates follow modern track-prepared coupes with the tall split kidney grille, fat arches and aero splitters. Kidney Grille, Low Light pans with a gunmetal coupe through darkness; Striped Livery crops a white car wearing blue and red motorsport stripes; Gold Wheels poses a matt black coupe on bronze rims under a single blue sweep of light. The other eight drop to a wide, low lens beside an early-2000s M3 saloon: Red Light, Wet Street drags silver bodywork through rain-slick city lights, Side by Side races a red car through a strip-lit tunnel, and Green Tunnel, the odd one out, swaps night for a sunlit forest road.
Most frames keep their heaviest detail in the middle third and leave a black or blurred band at the top, which suits a white clock. These are dark wallpapers through and through, made for dark mode and tinted icons; on an OLED screen the deep blacks look like part of the glass. The tunnel plates draw ceiling lights toward a vanishing point near the top, so a centred clock sits in their path.
Think enthusiasts, late drivers and track-day regulars, or anyone who wants a car wallpaper without colour shouting at them. Four of the seventeen plates are free in full resolution; the others are premium.

How Beemeur in the Night wears.
Nocturnal, fast, brooding, grainy. Motion-blurred low-light car photography, sized for every iPhone up to 2160 × 4800.
On the Lock Screen
Kidney Grille, Low Light leaves the upper half almost black, so the time floats above a single streak of light and a glowing grille.
On the Home Screen
Gold Wheels keeps a near-black backdrop and puts the car low, giving icons and labels a calm dark field.
Full resolution, every model
Each plate is delivered at the exact size of your iPhone's screen, up to 2160 × 4800, so nothing is stretched or soft at the edges.

About Beemeur in the Night.
What does Beemeur mean?
It is a playful French-flavoured spelling of Beemer, the nickname for a BMW. The title simply says what the series is: BMWs, mostly after dark.
Which BMWs are in the series?
Roughly half show modern track-prepared coupes with the large vertical kidney grille; the rest show early-2000s M3-style saloons. The plates are independent artwork, not official BMW imagery.
Are any of these BMW wallpapers free?
Four are: Kidney Grille, Low Light; Dusk Lap; Catch Fence; and Gold Wheels. The other thirteen are premium at 10 credits each in the pxCream app, with re-downloads forever, or every one with an Unlimited subscription.
