Neon Pathway is architecture reduced to light. Each plate is a black room with a single opening, a door, arch or tunnel, its edges traced by a thin neon tube and its interior flooded with amber, tangerine and red-orange. There is no furniture, no sign, no person. The materials, polished floor, matte plaster, a little grit on the concrete, are just real enough to make the glow believable.

Chamfered Arch nests one bevelled doorway inside another, both outlined in hot light. Lit Corridor runs a curving orange hallway under ceiling strips, the floor reflecting it like wet stone. Frame Within Frame turns a doorway into a square tunnel that fades to grey at its heart, and Distant Door places a small lit opening far back in the dark, a pool of light spilling across the floor towards you. Side Passage, Grey Room Beyond and Light Spill come at the doors from an angle, as if you were walking past.

These are among the easiest wallpapers in the gallery to live with. The upper third of nearly every plate is solid black, so the clock and Lock Screen widgets sit on nothing at all, and the glow begins below them. On the Home Screen the neon orange wallpaper reads mostly dark, so white labels stay crisp and the light gathers behind the middle rows of icons. The black also helps OLED screens look deeper.

For night owls, minimalists and anyone who likes a phone that looks like a gallery installation. Two of the eight are free in full resolution; the other six are premium.
