No. 082, in seven platesSleepy Yellow Rabbit

Yellow and black, and very little else. Each rabbit is drawn with short engraved strokes that suggest fur without filling it in, then set on a flat field of saffron or on solid black. Sometimes the bunny is a black silhouette on yellow, sometimes the colours swap and a golden rabbit glows out of the dark. The restraint makes it read almost like a print series pulled from two plates.

Every animal is asleep, and each sleeps differently. A tall black rabbit dozes with its ears still up, chin on its paws, filling the upper half of the frame. Another curls on a bed of golden straw. A lop-eared bunny has gone completely boneless, ears flopped over its face. The single white rabbit naps on a black pool of its own shadow against mustard, and the closing plate is a round yellow ball of fur, ear tucked back, floating in total darkness.

As wallpapers these are generous. Most rabbits rest in the middle of the screen with plain colour above, so the clock sits clear, and the black plates make a white time look razor sharp. On the yellow versions, a dark clock reads better. Plates with a black floor, like Straw Bed, keep the dock on dark ground, while the all-black Golden Ball is the one to pick for a night-time Home Screen or a phone left glowing on the bedside table.

It suits rabbit owners, light sleepers who want their phone to feel calmer, and anyone partial to a minimalist two-colour look. Two of the seven plates are free in full resolution, the other five premium.
