No. 043, in nine platesDino Drawings
Black ink, white paper, and more dinosaurs than anyone could reasonably count.
This is a pattern series, not a portrait series. Every plate tiles its dinosaurs edge to edge like gift wrap or nursery fabric, and every plate uses only black ink on white. Within that rule there are two hands at work: bold, filled silhouettes speckled with white dots, and open outline doodles that look like the margins of a very good school exercise book.
The silhouette plates favour long-necked sauropods and stegosaurs among sprigs of fern, leaf and tiny flowers. In one, the herd poses beside chunky speckled volcanic mounds; in another, stylised foliage nearly outnumbers the animals. The outline plates are more crowded and more talkative: stegosaurs covered in spots, a crested little dinosaur, hearts, butterflies and pebbles scattered in the gaps. The busiest drawing packs in dozens of tiny characters, some barely bigger than a fingernail on the screen.
Because the pattern runs everywhere, nothing here keeps the top of the screen clear. The clock will land on a dinosaur, which works best with a heavy font weight and the depth effect switched off. The outline plates are mostly white, so they behave like a light wallpaper: dark widgets look crisp, white app labels less so. The silhouette plates carry enough black to steady icons and labels on either theme. Either way, the even pattern means no one area of the screen shouts louder than another.
A natural fit for a child's first phone, for anyone who doodles through meetings, and for colouring-book nostalgia. Spotted Giants and Volcano Country are free to download in full resolution, with the other seven offered as premium plates.

How Dino Drawings wears.
Playful, graphic, nostalgic, busy. Hand-inked black and white pattern, sized for every iPhone up to 2160 × 4800.
On the Lock Screen
The outline plates take a black clock well, since their thin lines never fully cover the white paper beneath the time.
On the Home Screen
Black Parade and Spotted Giants have enough solid black to keep white labels legible; the outline plates suit dark-tinted icons.
Full resolution, every model
Each plate is delivered at the exact size of your iPhone's screen, up to 2160 × 4800, so nothing is stretched or soft at the edges.

About Dino Drawings.
Are the outline plates meant to be coloured in?
They are drawn in the open, outline-only manner of a colouring book, but each one is a finished black and white wallpaper. On the phone they read as a crisp, light pattern.
Which Dino Drawings plate is the darkest?
Black Parade. Its silhouettes fill most of the frame, so it sits comfortably alongside dark mode.
