No. 002, in seven plates60s Rally Time
Seven turquoise rally cars, seven gravel corners, and a crowd that always stands far too close.
Every plate in 60s Rally Time is inked with the scratchy confidence of a comic cover and then washed in two warring colours: a sea-glass turquoise for the cars and a burnt amber for everything they kick up. Loose hatching does the work of speed. Dust is a smear of ochre, gravel is a spray of flecks, and the trees lean as if they felt the draught. The cars change shape from plate to plate, a rounded coupe here, a square-shouldered saloon there, but the paint never does, so the seven read as one team on one long weekend.
Number 10 in the Birches is the clearest portrait: a Mercedes-Benz saloon with its three-pointed star on the grille, two rivals sliding round the hairpin behind it. Valley Stage pulls back to show a river winding through hills while spectators wave flags at car number 6. Cliffside Crowd squeezes number 16 between a rock face and a wall of onlookers. Crew of 410 is the cheerful one, with a driver and navigator grinning behind sunglasses, and Waved Through finds car 107 passing a line of fans leaning over a banner.
The action sits in the middle and lower half of each frame, which leaves the clock over sky or treetops. Valley Stage and The Coupe on the Bank have the calmest upper thirds, pale haze and a gold sky respectively. On the Home Screen the amber undertone warms white labels without drowning them; the bonnet usually lands around the third row of icons, so a widget stack up top keeps the car in view.
These suit anyone who grew up on paperback adventure covers, collects scale models, or simply likes a phone with some dirt under its fingernails. Number 10 in the Birches and Crew of 410 are free in full resolution; the other five stages are premium.
The dust is drawn with more conviction than most people sign their names.

How 60s Rally Time wears.
Adventurous, dusty, nostalgic, kinetic. Inked comic-cover illustration with ochre washes, sized for every iPhone up to 2160 × 4800.
On the Lock Screen
Valley Stage keeps misty hills and a ribbon of river behind the time, with car number 6 skidding in below.
On the Home Screen
Through the Pines parks the car low and fills the top with tall trunks, so icons sit over soft amber foliage.
Full resolution, every model
Each plate is delivered at the exact size of your iPhone's screen, up to 2160 × 4800, so nothing is stretched or soft at the edges.

About 60s Rally Time.
Why are all the rally cars the same turquoise?
It is the thread that ties the series together. The body shapes vary between saloons and coupes, but a single paint colour against amber dust makes the seven plates feel like one team's season rather than seven unrelated cars.
Is this official Mercedes-Benz or rally championship artwork?
No. These are original illustrations of 1960s-style rally scenes. One car carries a recognisable badge because that is the era being drawn, but no manufacturer or event has made or endorsed them.
Do any of the 60s Rally Time plates cost anything?
Two are free: Number 10 in the Birches and Crew of 410, both in full resolution. The other five cost 10 credits each in the pxCream app and can be re-downloaded forever, or come included with Unlimited.
