No. 044, in eleven platesLike a Pig in Flowers
Pink pigs, a black night and more roses than any garden should hold: the happiest pigs in the gallery.
This is the dark floral look of old botanical prints and needlepoint cushions, restaged with farm animals. Roses, peonies and chrysanthemums are packed shoulder to shoulder in dusty pink, deep crimson, cream and sage, set against a black ground, and the pigs are painted in the same soft rose so they seem to grow out of the beds. Birds flit through every plate, from doves and hummingbirds to a pair of flamingos.
Look closely and each of the eleven has its own small story. A piglet stands on a log with white doves overhead. Three pigs gather at a lily pond where flamingos wade. One leans over a weathered fence as if waiting for scraps, another peers straight out of a wall of roses with a beetle on its forehead, and a whole stack of wide-eyed pigs climbs up the left side of one frame. Elsewhere pigs doze with their eyes shut, wade beneath a white swan, or, in the last plate, grin broadly with a songbird perched on their head.
Many plates open with black sky dotted with birds, so the time sits over darkness and stays crisp in white. Lower down the flowers grow thick, which means icons and the dock land on busy blossom; a dimmed Home Screen or a few well-chosen apps keeps labels clear. These are pictures that reward a second look, so they suit the Lock Screen best of all.
It is a happy fit for pig lovers, cottagecore gardeners and anyone who likes their florals moody rather than pastel. Piglet on a Log, Flamingo Pond and Peeking Through Roses are free in full resolution, and the other eight are premium.
The roses grow thick, the night stays black, and the pigs are grinning.

About Like a Pig in Flowers.
Are these pig wallpapers too dark for a light Home Screen?
The black grounds read dark, but the pinks and creams keep them warm. They look richest in dark mode, where the flowers seem to glow.
Which plate shows a pig's face up close?
Peeking Through Roses puts a pig front and centre, staring out of the blooms. Bird on the Head is a close second.
Do I have to pay for any of the eleven?
For eight of them, yes. Piglet on a Log, Flamingo Pond and Peeking Through Roses download free in full resolution; the rest are 10 credits each, yours to re-download for good, or included with Unlimited.
