Halloween Smoothie is drawn in the dense, inky style of a sticker sheet or a tattoo flash board: thick black outlines, busy hatching, and a spray of paint flecks around every edge. The colour is limited to four inks, pumpkin orange, pool teal, grape purple and bone white, all printed on a warm cream paper ground. Each plate is a single tall composition centred on the page, so the eleven read as a matching set of labels.

The recipe repeats with variations. Pumpkin Cap jams a whole pumpkin on a skull like a beanie before dropping it into a striped cup. Skull Under Glass presses the skull against a clear lid as if it fell in. Double Scoop sets a skull-faced cup beside a jack-o'-lantern one, both piled with soft serve.
