No. 033, in 46 platesFormula One
Forty-six frames from an imagined Grand Prix weekend, seen from the pit wall, the back of the grandstand and straight down from above.
This is the big room of the motorsport wing, and the only one hung like a photo agency's contact sheets. Every plate has the look of long-lens trackside photography: shallow focus, smeared backgrounds, wet asphalt that holds the light. Scarlet is the house colour. Most frames build around a red single-seater set against charcoal, slate or a hazy salmon sky, so the forty-six works hang together even when the setting jumps from a pine-lined straight to a narrow old-town street.
A few recurring set-ups give the collection its rhythm. In Gantry Over the Straight and Gantry in the Pines the car waits beneath glowing start lamps, the second before anything happens. Four top-down plates, Overhead on Asphalt among them, lay the car flat like a specimen on a dark tray. Then the weather turns: Night Pit Stop and Rain Light glow teal and crimson on a soaked garage floor, while Salmon Sun and Avenue at Dusk park a car under a pale disc of sun between dark walls of trees. Not every car is red. A silver-and-teal machine bursts through a storm of paper in Silver Through Confetti, and a dark blue car kicks up golden grit in Dust at Golden Hour.
The compositions are kind to a phone. Start-light plates hang the lamps exactly where the clock would otherwise float, so the time ends up framed between two red discs, while the overhead plates run the car upright through the middle of the screen. Sunset and street plates keep their horizon low, with open sky for the date and widgets landing over tarmac. Most of the set runs dark, which suits dark mode and keeps white icon labels readable; bright pit-lane frames such as White Pit Lane are the exceptions and look better with tinted icons.
For race-weekend regulars, sim racers and anyone who sets an alarm for qualifying in another time zone. Twelve are free in full resolution, Night Pit Stop and Wet Arch among them; the other thirty-four are premium, and with Unlimited there is enough to swap the grid every Sunday of a season and still have spares. These are original artworks, not official team or series imagery.
Every great race begins with the screen going red.

About Formula One.
Are these real Formula One photographs?
No. They are original pxCream artworks made to look like trackside photography. The cars, circuits and crowds are imagined, and the collection is not affiliated with or endorsed by Formula One or any team.
Which F1 wallpaper works best behind the Lock Screen clock?
Gantry Over the Straight and Gantry in the Pines. Their start lamps sit high in the frame, so the time lands among the red lights while the car stays clear underneath.
How many of the 46 are free?
Twelve, each in full resolution at no cost: Overhead on Asphalt; Black Car, Orange Flags; Number Five Under Cover; Orange Smoke; Gantry Over the Straight; Flares in the Stand; Wet Arch; Night Pit Stop; Dust at Golden Hour; Palms and Flags; Number Eleven, Gold Hour; and Grid Under a Low Sun. The other thirty-four are premium at 10 credits each with re-downloads forever, or the full field with Unlimited.
