Eight blue creatures so fluffy they appear to have been tumble-dried, sitting for their portraits on raspberry pink.
Blue and Fluffy is a set of soft 3D character portraits, each creature built from fine, faintly static fur in cornflower and cobalt. Behind them hangs a studio wall of raspberry, rose and plum with a gentle vignette. Cool blue on warm pink is the whole recipe, and it is a good one: the two colours push against each other so hard that the fur looks almost touchable.
The cast leans feline. A kitten sits with paws together and enormous dark eyes; a tall, pear-shaped cat with blushing cheeks rests beside a pompom of a tail; another stands upright with pink-lined ears and a polite pair of fangs; a fourth clasps its paws and looks sheepish. Then the monsters arrive: a round, worried ball of fluff on tiny feet, a shaggy figure whose eyes peek over folded arms, a grinning thing with pink striped eye-stalks, and a lanky imp with curved horns and a sly smile.
The creatures stand tall and centred, so ears and eyes often rise into the top quarter of the screen, right where the clock lives. The round, worried one sits lowest and leaves the most rose wall above its head. On the Home Screen the deep raspberry corners keep white app labels readable, and the blue fur sits naturally with blue-tinted icons. Even in light mode the pink grounds read as mid-tone rather than pale.
